				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span>I&#8217;m not really into following sports or a favorite team, but I love to watch athletes move. I&#8217;m fascinated by the body&#8217;s ability to  retain mechanics to repeat successful actions. I&#8217;m also intrigued by the fact that we build so many compensatory actions that we are completely unaware of ( that&#8217;s another post!). </span>In celebration of  Baseball and our beloved Giants, I thought I&#8217;d post this article that one of my clients sent me.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I often encounter individuals who feel that Mat is too <strong><span style="color: #99cc00;">EASY</span></strong>. I always giggle inside because in my mind  Pilates Mat is the hardest!  To get a  strong workout in a mat class, you have to be willing to go that extra mile to not work hard but to work correct. Pilates is not like being at a gym and powering away at a bunch of reps, (don&#8217;t get me wrong I hit the gym too!)  it&#8217;s about controlling every aspect of your body from, alignment, to breath and yes, that nice deep burn in &#8220;powerhouse&#8221; that we Pilates fanatics love so much!</p>

Yeah, it&#8217;s a little rough to get going those first few attempts, crawling out of a warm bed an hour earlier is tough but it could be a great way to make sure your fitting in your fitness goals. I am currently offering a Basic Mat Class in Belmont at 7:30am. Come on in, get stretched and scooped before heading off to work!</p>
